Thinking Green

The BBC recently aired a short but informative documentary on death metal legends Slipknot, as Daniel P. Carter spoke to members of the band during their recent UK tour. Fifth album .5: The Gray chapter was released late last year and over the past few years the band has not only seen the departure of drummer Joey Jordison but also the death of bass player Paul Gray. Despite a never-ending amount of ups and downs throughout a 20 year career, Slipknot remain one of the biggest bands in the world, a band that transcends genre and also, most importantly, one of Mojo20’s favourites. Here’s our top ten picks from their first five LP’s.
