2016 will forever be remembered as a year of incredible political change and of tragic celebrity deaths, including the passing of many an iconic and legendary artist. Despite this, we recently posted our favourite albums of the year (check these out here) and within that post we mentioned that it hasn’t been the best year ever for decent new album releases. At the same time however, there have been a number of brilliant tracks released this year, constantly changing the perception of the year and its musical credibility, even if for a short time. Here’s our favourite tracks of the year and of you haven’t heard them, we suggest you do before the year is out.
Here’s to 2017 being a much better year in all respects and Happy New Year to you all.
