Late last night, the world received the news that a large explosion at the MEN arena in Manchester had injured and killed a number of concert goers following a performance by US pop star Ariana Grande. At this time, police are reporting that there have been 22 fatalities and another 59 injuries as a result of this horrendous ordeal. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to everyone affected whether directly or otherwise as the UK has been the stage for a blatant attack on freedom, enjoyment and lifestyle. The details are not known as it stands for motivations, but whatever they are, to carry this out on a crowd of young, innocent music lovers is an atrocity. The attacker is beloved dead at the scene.

The people of Manchester have shown their compassion by rallying together to take in the injured and the lost, and everybody that can is doing their bit to help as much as possible and for that we applaud you. They are representing the resolve and selflessness that the attackers could never have dreamt of having themselves. To the people of Manchester and those affected, our thoughts are with you.
